Every tread, edge to edge
- Old finish and wear sanded off every tread and landing, down to clean wood
- Edges and corners sanded with smaller tools, where a big machine cannot reach
- Natural tone or a new stain color
- Water-based finish, including Bona Traffic, coat by coat
- Done on its own or together with your floors

Can you refinish just the stairs?
Yes. We refinish stairs on their own or together with the floors in the same job.
Can my stairs be stained a different color?
Yes. After sanding, the treads can be stained a new color or kept natural, then finished.
What finish do you use on stairs?
Water-based finishes, including Bona Traffic, a finish made for heavy foot traffic. Stairs need that.
